just learned that my creationist science teacher from 7th grade still has his job
margin
i really really really want to send a nasty email to him but he and i both work in public education in the same town and nothinggood will necessarily come of it.
I kinda just wanna say: Hey Mr. Blahblah I was a student of yours 17 years ago. You came to mind as I watched Bill Nye intellectually decimate young earth creationist Ken Ham in front of millions of people. I hope you're not still teaching your students that garbage. Anyway, see ya! Bread Regal |
yeah you live in florida homei
why we still got monkeys
youre telling me its not worse in texas
i'm from austin you know
i went to a science magnet high school so no, no creationists that i recall i think they coached football rather than taught sicneense |
you're from san antonio
and just because you live in your little hipster enclave under a cloud of reefer smoke doesnt change the fact that texas is marginally worse
are you fucking with me man
i mean i know there's pretty much a 1:1 relationship between cruz and rubio
i was born and raised in austin and i went to college in san antonio
oh
ARE YOU LOCAL??????????????????????
well
why didncha go to UT
i did have baptists saying that the reason i was a bad kid was because my parents didn't go to church so there is that
and yes we texans have little to hold on to other than being better than florida |
Quote:
yeah that was the reason |
my 2 cents is metropolitan texas is radically disproportionate to the flyby portion. you could argue that goes for every southern state but i've stayed in OKC and mississippi and the major cities were still sort of heehaw. houston elected the first lesbo mayor for example (of a major city)
i can't speak for florida |
i find it funnty tjat for some reason the creator of this map was all fuck your color scheme
the red areas are basically orlando (UCF), tampa (USF), miami (FIU), tallahassee (FSU) and gainesville (UF) |
hey i went and put your map in as texas and i think the colors are flipped
oh you said that already sorry weed
looking at that map i feel dread just thinking about standing in themiddle of the panhandle there
doesnt help knowing that oklahoma is directly to the north |
there's just sparsely scattered white people and cows
it's really disproportionate the amount of power scattered whtie people with cows have
the squareness of all those counties up there really emphasizes that theres almost no variation in geographic features of the land they occupy.
do cows get 3/5 representation
i think so
every time i think of the 3/5 thing i get so annoyed
i gotta love that the county big bend in votes for republicans that want to defund the national parks
YEAH WRECK THE ONLY THING WE GOT |
speaking of creationism, there was a live broadcast tonight from the creationist museum of a debate featuring bill nye the science guy vs ken ham
its going to be hosted for the next few days apparently - next broadcast in 13 minutes http://debatelive.org/ |
like, 3/5 isn't a compromise. at all.
we'd like our subhuman negro servants to be counted in the census. also, they shouldn't be allowed to vote. |
well they do own them after all
that is literally mentioned in the first post in this thread
fucking margin
fucking fuck
i would say something about how ken ham has some good ideas and i can see both sides of it but i'd rather leave it to order66
my biggest problem with the thing was when ken tried to define "literally" as "naturally" towards the end. i was like hold up son what.
it was fun watching good-natured bow tie smiles man suddenly pounce on ken ham during the rebuttals stage.
i think the entire room got chills when it happened - when it suddenly turned aggressive also everybody laffed at kens jokes but not at bills yet bill got the biggest applause? |
ken ham probably spent like 20k on hookers and blow after that debate.
