Too Fast for Love is a great album.

Trotskilicious 01-29-2014 02:30 PM

it is not

slunken 01-29-2014 03:25 PM

Great band - deserves respect

MyOneAndOnly 01-29-2014 03:56 PM

The white trash scene that swirls around the band is intolerable, but they recorded some good music back in the day.

Mick and Tommy are serious players. The band would have never made it out of the LA bar scene if it wasn't for the two of them.

Trotskilicious 01-29-2014 04:52 PM

terrible, one of the worst. rest in piss

MyOneAndOnly 01-29-2014 05:40 PM

MyOneAndOnly 01-29-2014 06:54 PM

I'm going to buy a bunch of VIP tickets and fly the top 10 Netphoria boarders into Grand Rapids to partake in this once in a life time event. When you arrive a limo will pick you up from the Gerald R Ford international airport and shuttle you to the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel where you will stay for the duration of your visit. Before the Motley Crue concert you will dine on hot dogs at Yesterdog and drink all the beer you can at Founder's Brewery. After the snow you will be shuttled to a bridge over the Grand River where you will be chained together by the ankles and pushed over the rail into the raging rapids, just down river from the sewage treatment plant.

If I a made a mod we wont have errors like this anymore. I'll move the threads to their proper places as to not clog up the board.

I think it's pretty easy to shit on and trivialize "hair metal" but Motley Crue really stands out, IMO. Motley Crue has been described through the years as the world's most notorious rock bands. The members of the band have often been noted for their hedonistic lifestyles and the persona they maintained. All of the original members have had numerous brushes with the law, spent time in prison, suffered from alcoholism, suffered from long addictions to drugs such as cocaine and heroin, had countless escapades with women and are heavily tattooed.

slunken 01-29-2014 11:01 PM

bullshit

slunken 01-29-2014 11:10 PM

motley crue was one of the first if not the first major band of the sunset strip scene. sure it became copied and plagiarized heavily within the next couple years, but what major music scene hasn't? credit goes where credit is due.

i'm 100% positive trots has no idea what he's talking about

I've been thinking a lot lately about bands that had a guitar player who was significantly older than the rest of the group, hired/recruited for his talent.

Also it's funny when bands lie about members' ages. Gotta sell the image!
