slunken 01-06-2014 05:31 PM

they're cool at first but "spoilers" they show up way too many times in the future

slunken 01-06-2014 05:32 PM

like 5 more episodes

Trotskilicious 01-06-2014 05:37 PM

that's wayyyy too many times

the flesheating shadow monsters from silence in the library/forest of the dead are better

Trotskilicious 01-06-2014 05:38 PM

i like sontarans the most i think, their ridiculous bluster reminds me of WWI generals

very true. there are some great upcoming episodes featuring the main sontaran. it's difficult not to give anything away.

it sounds like you're right about where i was, episodically, a few months ago when i started catching up with all the episodes i've missed

Trotskilicious 01-06-2014 06:03 PM

i'm right before the end of time specials to kill off david tennant

i started watching torchwood before i dive into it, it's okay i may give up on it

what i love about dr. who also is seeing all these people i recognize from british comedies like tim mcinnery (aka Percy and Darling from blackadder) in that ood liberation episode and richard bucket from keeping up appearances in that titanic/kylie thing

slunken 01-06-2014 06:13 PM

i tried to start torchwood but gave up midway through season 1. i heard it gets waaaay better though.

its difficult to keep a show about time-travel in order. disregard my previous statement. i was thinking the silence in the library episode and weeping angels were well into the matt smith seasons.

Trotskilicious 01-06-2014 06:31 PM

nah that's all tennant

Trotskilicious 01-06-2014 06:31 PM

i wish chris eccleston got at least 1 more season

pale_princess 01-06-2014 07:35 PM

rewatching dawson's creek. in s3 michael pitt plays a shy freshman football kid with a home improvement haircut and the hots for jen.
