there are alternatives to using itunes to sync to ipod and iphone and a few good ones from what i remember. doubletwist i liked.

Now that I think about it I don't even use iTunes to listen to music. It's just to manage the phone and the pod. If I'm listening to any digital music it's through one of those devices.

Also iTunes holds books for me I use those a lot.
