well it's like women who are put off by beards. I mean, it's just hair. so long as a person is clean and takes care of him/herself, why would the presence of hair in a place where it naturally grows, be off putting...?

To want guys to be clean shaven or girls to be waxed before one can find them sexy...yeah, I think shows like a lack of maturity or something

I'm not into arseplay so guys waxing themselves isn't even on my radar. But couldn't you...you know...just...wash yourself properly?

analogy is not perfect because virtually no women shaved their pubic hair before the 1980s/90s. At least in media representations of nude women, they all sported full bush, ostensibly at least since the photograph was invented. then suddenly thanks to a rapid transition in media portrayals of nudity, it became taboo to not shave

I don't see anything wrong with people having personal preferences. to each his own.

I hate making out with dudes with facial hair. And I don't like giving oral sex through a carpet worth of pubic hair.
