been reading vu's "day by day" book casually the past month. some guy went nuts and collated all the information about vu and put it in chronological order. just finished slogging through the early years and made it to warhol's early meetings with the band.

this white light/white heat box set is nuts.

that chunky thunky sound on "Guess I'm Falling In Love(instrumental version)" is pretty much the best sound.

The instrumentals are all bruisers. Amazing guitar tone. Definitely sounds like gretsch/vox.

I think Temptation in your heart is my favorite VU song
