OMRI CASSPI BURNIN THIS SHIT UP YO

teh b0lly!!1 10-17-2013 06:49 PM

has there ever been a more overrated player than dwight howard

i can't think of any

MusicMan4 10-17-2013 06:53 PM

Dwight Howard is the best center in the league still, a defensive nightmare for opposing teams, a perennial all-star and MVP candidate except for last season and he single handedly lead a bullshit magic team to the finals and he is the magics all time points rebounds and block leader iirc
There have probably been more overrated players

Trotskilicious 10-17-2013 08:07 PM

i submit to you tim duncan as the best center in the nba

Elvis The Fat Years 10-17-2013 10:44 PM

Howard wants his number retired by the magic.

d rose is back. all is well with the world.

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 12:56 PM

of all-time status sure
and obviously i would never trade him for dwight regardless because duncan is perfect for the team and their best player ever and he will retire a spur or there would be lynchings
but at the moment dwight howard is absolutely the league's best center and the rockets will be a top 3 team in the west

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 10:05 PM

top 3?

Spurs
Thunder

the rest

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:08 PM

Spurs
Rockets
Thunder

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:09 PM

i'm iffy on the thunder too
it depends a lot on westbrook coming back strong and durant going absolutely apeshit to make up for the lack of even a kevin martin to ease the burden

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:09 PM

i imagine we all agree on

1. Bulls
2. Heat
3. Pacers

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 10:09 PM

i forget the thunder's bench sucks and they still have perkins

it's not like on NBA 2k14 how i already got them hooked up with nasty nate and traded for gortat

however that gortat thing could totally happen

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 10:11 PM

i still don't understand why denver needs nasty nate at all or when he's getting minutes, they already have two points and ty lawson is already a mighty mite...what do they need with 5-9 point guard

but the way i figure he fits in perfect on the thunder because he can play in the same backcourt with brussel restwook or run point with sefolosha at the 2 or whatever

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:11 PM

i maintain that the dubs should have gone hard for nate as soon as they lost jarret jack

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 10:12 PM

i'll actually go with
1. spurs
2. warriors
3. grizzle
4. thunder
5. rocks

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 10:14 PM

of course i just saw bogut is hurt again and it's hard to think the warriors can soar that high without the defensive masterclass in the paint

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:15 PM

i'm low on the grizz
too much riding on z-bo

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:16 PM

jesus really? the last i heard of bogut was him posturing about his contract

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:17 PM

back spasms
good lord
the article about his contract he pointed out that he had two really bad breaks on different areas of his body but back spasms seem like the ongoing scourge of the nba
i think that's what killed mcgrady

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 10:18 PM

i was watching the dubs press conference to hear about bogut and one of the reporters called iggy their best player
motherfucker what are you doing covering this game if you don't know lil' dell curry

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 11:02 PM

mcgrady had a knee blowout

that's why he lost all of his explosiveness, he just couldn't physically do it any longer

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 11:03 PM

although: In the 2006–07 season, McGrady started out slowly, and after missing 7 games with back spasms he visited a doctor. In an interview with TNT, McGrady said that he thought that his body was slowing down. He believed that he could no longer be as explosive as he was in the past due to his back injury. Shortly after another bout with back spasms, McGrady went to Waco, Texas where Dr. John Patterson performed "Synergy Release Therapy" to cure his chronic back problems, particularly the back spasms.

but he played two more very effective years after that and then after the knee injury he was practically an average 3.

MusicMan4 10-18-2013 11:30 PM

maybe it's just how often i hear somebody is sitting out b/c of back spasms
that and plantar fasciitis

Trotskilicious 10-18-2013 11:35 PM

plantar fasciitis in basketball is probably common just because of the playing surface, i mean i don't hear about that one very much in field sports

fuzzyroes 10-19-2013 03:58 PM

Hey man, was gonna join but I can't remember my yahoo password, and it's not recognizing my affiliated e-mail. Was making a new account but its started asking for my phone number and shit. think I'll just pass

Trotskilicious 10-20-2013 03:04 AM

faggot

MusicMan4 10-20-2013 12:34 PM

reprise85 10-20-2013 02:06 PM
