seriously how can you have a place with signs posted all around about what to do if you have a gambling problem while having huge shiny machines and incentives for spending more and free alcohol to entice you into spending more i mean WHAT THE FUCK

maybe in vegas it's different but the last time i was in a casino was at like 11am on a weekday and it was really sad and i went tonight and it was just as sad

i spent $3 and won $10 on my last spin and just kept it. fuck you casino.

i thought about putting some effort into learning about poker and developing a system where i approach it purely mathematically but then i realized that is really stupid idea.

i played blackjack for the first time in a casino a few months ago. friend gave me 20 bucks and showed me the ropes. i won 280 bucks in 45 minutes. ive also lost all my money before on slots only to win it all back at the last bet. all casinos are depressing. vegas is a hell hole but it gets really bad in the smaller towns like wendover, reno, laughlin, mesquite. they are great places to go and suck up all the negativity and then kill yourself in a cheap hotel room after filling up on shitty buffet food.

this place also had the sleeziest bar i've ever seen. if you're going to have waitresses dressed in fucking corsets holding money in their tits just call it a strip club and install a pole ffs

i had fun. i went with this guy ben i hadn't seen since i was 14. he lost $4.

oh man strip clubs in casino towns are the best. handjob and a jagerbomb for 5 dollars.

at least if it's a vacation to vegas it's a purposeful visit. this is midnight on thursday night in aventura fl next to a horse racing track that smells like shit.

i like to take the fun bus to wendover and get drunk on the way. 20 bucks round trip, 10 bucks in chips, free buffet and two drink tickets. basically pays for itself and you can get wasted playing nickel or penny slots.

my only memory of aventura fl is a day trip to the mall and we at a place called unicorn village and they used paper drinking straws.

also, there are ads for the fun bus to seminole hard rock casino all over the ghetto in orlando.

the people that ride the fun bus on the regular are the scariest people ever. the hosts on the rides are even scarier. last one i was on i video taped the whole bizarre experience of her mumbling into the pa system and me losing at bingo during a tie coin flip and me having a fake meltdown about it. i should put it on youtube someday.

two of the three videos ive put on youtube are music videos i filmed in las vegas, wandering the streets with a friend dressed as dr rockso.

i'd never really been in the town either. we went to the mall but it was packed and i didnt feel like walking around or going to the cheesecake factory so we skipped it

my dad swore up and down at my mom that he never gambled. then one day i was with my mom, this was after they got divorced, and we ran into him at the cocount creek casino with his girlfriend. awkward.

after that he stopped pretending he didn't gamble and would meet me there all the time. this was back when i was too sick to work and he'd give me a $20 bill here and there or just eat lunch with me at the buffet. i lived 10 minutes away and he lived about an hour away.

the parking is across the street from the casino itself and they have a bus to take you. that bus is the saddest place in the world on a weekday morning.

I won $300 on ghost bear. I like our casino here, it's nice and clean... and if I go on the right night, I don't run into the sleazy guys that go there.

There is a shithole casino in shithole Pittsburgh and it's a shithole. Smells like spilled alcohol and cheap ciggies mixed with desperation and stupidity.

Went there once. Felt bad for everybody and everything. Left after I made 5 dollars in blackjack wherein the dealer literally walked me through every single move. Gave her a 5-dollar tip.

Man I spent like 3 days in Mesquite at the original world series of beer pong and it was a saaaad place.
