so guys remember when we were arguing about punctuation inside of quotation marks? i just took a practice test and got it wrong; it says they should be outside of quotation marks.

for example.

Ex.

In the UK, it's the opposite.

But on the OT, that is some serious bullshit. I got my ged by choice and have since regretted it. Whether its fair or not, I feel judged every time ive ever applied for a job. I mean I've rarely NOT gotten a job I tried for but I digress.

i would honestly just take it today if my math wasnt so rusty. my english/writing skills are fine and the lady i spoke to told me the science and history isnt even dates or anything it's more like reading comprehension... all the answers are in the text given to you on the test

this make sense but im pretty sure any test question will probably want it outside

gonna take the TABE test which is like a placement test to see if i have to study anything but math. then i can register for class and it starts june 10th and is only 9 weeks which seems adequate. otherwise class is from august to december and quite frankly fuck that. ill do the 9 weeks and study outside class as well.

kind of a blessing that my hours at work are reduced because im gonna have to restrict my availability.

i dunno, if it's an act of god and you have your diploma it may be different... my school was a tiny private one and either the headmaster didn't turn in records when the school closed or the county lost them.

I got the good enough degree when I dropped out. I did fine, but was stressing about the math portion as well. One thing that threw me off was that there were 90 questions but was only graded on 45. Meaning I could skip the questions I didn't understand. Might be regional tho, but it made it all a breeze

And don't take the ged prep classes, that's just a way to cull money unless you're a really dense person and you're not

ok i just took a practice test and the math is like 8th grade level at most. i got this. just gotta review some equations for simple geometry.
