Apparently Amy tried opening a credit card up in someone else's name about ten years ago, and was sued by the government.

oh it wasn't a student loan
i still think it's weird that they'd want to draw this much attention to their money laundering operation but it does strongly, Strongly suggest mafia ties. Crazy italian guy, braindead mental spoiled "trophy" wife (for lack of better term), totally hopeless business. But why go on TV? I guess we'll know what the truth is if they both get whacked.. |

Whooooooooo caaaaaaaaaarrrrrreeeeeeesssssssssss

Fox
sometimes we watch full episodes of kitchen nightmares on youtube. the uk version is better because there's loads less yelling from everyone and it isn't so much of a production.
Wheres the fun in that.

such is american tv
american television, outside of reality shows, is really wonderful these days. let's not generalize too much here.
network television not so much. cable/basic cable yessir
Outside the basic channels I would agree. 2,5,7,9,12 put out some truly crap shows, but I guess that's always the case
edit: yeah what he said |
the fact that Breaking Bad, The Americans, Mad Men, Rectify, American Horror Story, Veep, Family Tree, Girls, Parks and Rec, Archer... and some others I'm forgetting are all airing right now is really phenomenal.
i read that P&R is back off deaths door and is doing more eps, is that true?
last year it was like 10 more and cancelled and then the other day i was reading that it's still going |

i'm confused was there ever a time when america wasn't the leader in broadcast entertainment
what does that mean exactly, though
i think it would mean that they set the standards that everyone else copies
that would be false then
american entertainment sets a very low bar for "standards"
