My mother's family are Samoan and emigrated to new zealand to work in factories and my Dad's family came from England as part of a Wakefield settlement. So no Irish. But my husband is 1/4 Irish and he has that crazy Irish streak in him and can't seem to ever eat enough potatoes. He puts them in sandwiches and on pizza. He puts them in risotto. He fries them in butter. Crazy Irish!
