He would never agree to that. And I think it would ruin our relationship...He would have far less trouble than me. I've had two kids, I don't want to show my body to another man, ever. It's bad enough being with my husband.

i've heard that before that i "argue my way out of things" or i'm "really good at turning things around"

you're wrong in the first fuckin place just accept it and move on

You're the one going on about it

Trotskilicious 11-28-2012 11:02 PM

mostly i would just like someone funny and nice and not a big bundle of blubbery wanking and mental illness that would be delightful

i suppose that is my type

and if she didn't already have black hair i would just convince her that she would look better with it because that is almost always true especially in the case of nicki manaj

because it doesn't. this has been made clear repeatedly. instead of trying to make a point you just say "MY GRANDFATHER IS A MASTER THEOLOGIAN AND I WENT TO COLLEGE." no one gives a shit.

vixnix 11-28-2012 11:06 PM

I have no idea where you find girls like that. I've never met any. I guess us blubbery mental illness types tend to stick together so if you avoid us and look for girls who avoid us, you'll get lucky.

Hey I think you just described Starla actually...maybe she knows a girl?

Oh well I guess I offer it as an excuse for not caring enough about netphoria to invest time and effort in an actual response.

You could have pointed out that I used the fallacy of appealing to authority to verify my claim that I am an able logician. But I guess the no one cares carry on is fine anyway. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Trotskilicious 11-28-2012 11:10 PM

i guess you don't quite realize how crazy you are

vixnix 11-28-2012 11:11 PM

Which would make me just like everyone else really

Trotskilicious 11-28-2012 11:12 PM

i'm crazier than the craziest man in crazy town

I scored high in home economics. I got an A on a skirt I sewed and an A on a meatloaf.

Yes so if someone was commenting on your ability to hem a pair a pants or make bechamel sauce I would find that information relevant, personally speaking. :)

Trotskilicious 11-29-2012 01:02 AM

so expertise is down to doing something once

Trotskilicious 11-29-2012 01:09 AM

more or less or have you not been paying attention to the entire theory of everything

vixnix 11-29-2012 01:13 AM

No one's claiming to be an expert. And neither Starla or me did something once. She said she took home EC, that's probably at least a year. I took logic for a year. You commented sarcastically that you admired my logic, I said go ahead. I admire it myself. Not that it's my logic or anything. But I have worked consistently and reasonably hard to understand propositional logic.

Trotskilicious 11-29-2012 01:16 AM

i am only saying things to provoke you

Order 66 11-29-2012 01:20 AM

i think the current roster of posters is the most mentally unbalanced this board has seen. its just surreal sometimes

if anyone says anything about literature, the english language, or law, i get to just shut them down with that info then, huh

it's a really stupid mode of argumentation.

vixnix 11-29-2012 01:23 AM

It's so humid today and I'm exhausted. I went running in the bush this morning before breakfast and stepped in dog poo.

If someone comments on your knowledge of those things I don't know why you wouldn't. I don't post that stuff all the time. Just in response to people calling me stupid or illogical, which happens a lot around here. Ironically.

is it even remotely possible that you're not applying formal logic to your everyday activities 100% of the time

vixnix 11-29-2012 01:49 AM

Yes. But I probably apply it more often than people who didn't study it for a year.

Luke de Spa 11-29-2012 01:53 AM

can you use logic to explain why the argument from authority above is in fact not a logical fallacy

vixnix 11-29-2012 01:55 AM

No

Luke de Spa 11-29-2012 01:57 AM

i still want a beer
