Halloween is cancelled!

For me at least....doing a clopen tonight/tmw and then I have to open on Sunday! Ugh! Much too old to party in between plus I'm going to a show on Sunday night so I need the rest and $$ for that :/

we skipped the midnight showing of rocky horror last night cause we were both ready to pass out at 10:30. it would have been my first time. the wack part is we didn't even go to sleep. once we decided not to go we watched some episodes of roseanne. tim fell asleep first and i finally passed out for what felt like 10 minutes until i was startled awake at 2:45am.

a bar patio is visible from the apartment and we heard yelling so we went to the window to check it out. i went the back porch to get a better look and to assess whether i should call the cops. i heard 'shoot me, bitch' and then a gunshot, so i called the cops. then the same women who shot the gun went into the apartment building next the bar and came out brandishing a knife. when the cops showed up we went downstairs and told them what happened and that's it, i guess. i'm considering seeing what can be done about getting that place closed down. every night there's yelling and it's a dumb idea to have a bar surrounded by some many apartments, a lot of which have kids- especially if adults are going to be starting fights, shooting guns, and trying to stab each other.

didn't get to bed until 4am then woke up again at 7am and went to class at 10am. def not looking forward to hanging with general public tonight at a bar but it's my pal's birthday, so that makes me wanna go.
