Is it fair to compare Tom Green with Andy Kaufman?

I think in certain ways their style of comedy was very similar. They both had an absurdist, surreal approach to comedy. Of course Tom Green was/is more juvenile in a lot of ways.

Yeah I know his name, from that song and from man on the moon, the movie. I didn't see it but I remember Jim carrey and Courtney love were in it. And he was on taxi wasn't he? Is that what that show was called? I never really watched that either, I just saw reruns because they played them at 5:30 or something in new Zealand which is when my mother turned the tv on so she could cook dinner without us annoying her. But that's all I remember. I haven't ever seen him doing stand up or anything.

Has Tom Green ever wrestled pregnant woman on Letterman?

Has Tom Green ever done the best Elvis impersonation ever?

Has Tom Green ever got his neck broken by a professional wrestler?

Was Tom Green a lynchpin in a top rated comedy?

When Tom Green dies, will people think it a hoax?

The answer is no and not even close. Kaufman had true talent and was a master of breaking the 4th wall of entertainment. He was Mad, he was Genius, Green by comparison is the ultimate poser.

tom green was hilarious but pathetic without the original show's format. i understand why he wouldnt want to do it anymore but he doesnt have much of a future without it unless he wants to do vh1 reality tv or something

yes to all of the above and the only reason people don't think any of it happened is because there was a global cover-up
