Heard footsteps on the roof. It sounds like someone walking around up there. The ceiling is creaking as I type this. WWYD?

Probably squirrels or other merry woodland creatures such as chipmunks and raccoons, perhaps a large bird. Or the aliens from Signs since they are incapable of getting through rudimentary physical barriers
