This Mitt Romney fellow

Get a load of this guy huh

I heard he was trying another bid at the white house

Eulogy 09-18-2012 11:11 PM

i really did think he was just kind of a bumbling generic republican

not so

he's now in the top 5 of people who could die without me caring at all [not that i am hoping for his death (#1 is antonin scalia, for those of you who may be curious)].

Order 66 09-18-2012 11:31 PM

yeah i thought he really wasn't so bad. of course i didn't want him to win but if he did i thought oh well how bad could it be... but these past five months or so... yeah

Future Boy 09-19-2012 12:14 AM

so whats he done since clinching to make you guys hate him. Or did it start before then?

jeff O))) 09-19-2012 12:35 AM

he's like the stiff uncle that buys you a fancy dinner and you chat about sports with, being careful to never bring up politics or religion

Future Boy 09-19-2012 01:33 AM

uh, what exactly was the problem with my question eulogy. has he shifted his position or come out stronger for something that he didnt before, he's just as horrible and empty as he always was. Even his video is unsurprising. What the fuck is your problem.

Order 66 09-19-2012 01:37 AM

i tried holding off on being too critical because i don't want to be like people who shit on obama for dumb things. but i think the past month pretty much cements romney as a joke on all counts. he doesn't know what's going on, he has no way of defining himself even though it should be very easy to make a case against obama at this point. he is a fucking clown

Eulogy 09-19-2012 01:38 AM

i already said i thought he was a generic bumbling republican, which i thought implied that he didn't really care about much aside from being elected president. now it's clear he actually does not understand that the fact that his father was a governor and paid for his prep school, harvard undergrad, harvard law and MBA degrees, and first house gave him a real leg up in life. and that anyone who isn't where he is just hasn't worked as hard.

i did not think he was that stupid before.

did you?

Order 66 09-19-2012 01:39 AM

Sure, hes mitt romney

so hes stupider than you thought and now he could die without you caring. ok.

I guess I took the dying stuff harsher than you meant it. Thanks for clarifying, its such a horrible thing to ask of someone.

Future Boy 09-19-2012 01:46 AM

the rep was for acting like a little shit over a simple question. this however is a post about rep, so feel free

And I took your question as another accusation about everyone being in the tank for Obama regardless of anything that ever has or ever could happen.

If I was wrong about that then I apologize but I hope you can see why I thought that.

Future Boy 09-19-2012 11:32 AM

actually that makes no sense to me whatsoever

Eulogy 09-19-2012 12:10 PM

so nothing in the last weak has worsened your opinion of him? i understand that for all of us it was already about as low as it could go. but.

duovamp 09-19-2012 12:36 PM

I wouldn't vote for Obama if he were running against an axe murderer baby rapist cult leader because he's dragging his feet in the Middle East.

no

duovamp 09-19-2012 12:43 PM

Are you even old enough to vote yet?

Future Boy 09-19-2012 01:07 PM

I should look into it

hnibos 09-19-2012 01:22 PM

Future boy hated Mittens before it was cool to hate Mittens.

Eulogy 09-19-2012 02:17 PM

he's just like us

MyOneAndOnly 09-19-2012 02:47 PM

it's missing "all the trees are the right height"

MyOneAndOnly 09-19-2012 02:48 PM

it's like watching a secondary character from "Big Love"

reprise85 09-19-2012 03:28 PM

so he's awkward. it could be kinda endearing if he wasn't an asshole

MyOneAndOnly 09-19-2012 03:41 PM

I find it hard to believe that someone that priviledged and wealthy, someone who associates with the wealthiest people on earth, is that square, stiff and awkward. It would be difficult to believe that he acts that way when he's hanging out at the country club with his Bain buddies, or tearing apart some business he just purchased. Something tells me that this guy got grossly wealthy with a strong dose of ruthlessness. Romney's isn't the awkwardness of genius, the kind of thing you see with Bill Gates. And it's not the awkwardness of ignorance, the kind of thing we used to see on display with Bush 2. It seems more like the awkwardness of feigned humbleness mixed with an inability to sympathize with average people. Yeah, a lot of a public persona is an act. But if a candidate can't display empathy he'll never get the public to follow him.

Awww, yeah... ^_^ If he were a super charitable type and didn't crush poor people's bones to make his bread I'd like the guy.

reprise85 09-19-2012 04:59 PM

i'm just saying, picking on him for being awkward is dumb

Future Boy 09-19-2012 06:00 PM

he smacks his lips too, dont forget
