I heard he was trying another bid at the white house

i really did think he was just kind of a bumbling generic republican

not so

he's now in the top 5 of people who could die without me caring at all [not that i am hoping for his death (#1 is antonin scalia, for those of you who may be curious)].

yeah i thought he really wasn't so bad. of course i didn't want him to win but if he did i thought oh well how bad could it be... but these past five months or so... yeah

so whats he done since clinching to make you guys hate him. Or did it start before then?

he's like the stiff uncle that buys you a fancy dinner and you chat about sports with, being careful to never bring up politics or religion

uh, what exactly was the problem with my question eulogy. has he shifted his position or come out stronger for something that he didnt before, he's just as horrible and empty as he always was. Even his video is unsurprising. What the fuck is your problem.

i tried holding off on being too critical because i don't want to be like people who shit on obama for dumb things. but i think the past month pretty much cements romney as a joke on all counts. he doesn't know what's going on, he has no way of defining himself even though it should be very easy to make a case against obama at this point. he is a fucking clown

i already said i thought he was a generic bumbling republican, which i thought implied that he didn't really care about much aside from being elected president. now it's clear he actually does not understand that the fact that his father was a governor and paid for his prep school, harvard undergrad, harvard law and MBA degrees, and first house gave him a real leg up in life. and that anyone who isn't where he is just hasn't worked as hard.

I find it hard to believe that someone that priviledged and wealthy, someone who associates with the wealthiest people on earth, is that square, stiff and awkward. It would be difficult to believe that he acts that way when he's hanging out at the country club with his Bain buddies, or tearing apart some business he just purchased. Something tells me that this guy got grossly wealthy with a strong dose of ruthlessness. Romney's isn't the awkwardness of genius, the kind of thing you see with Bill Gates. And it's not the awkwardness of ignorance, the kind of thing we used to see on display with Bush 2. It seems more like the awkwardness of feigned humbleness mixed with an inability to sympathize with average people. Yeah, a lot of a public persona is an act. But if a candidate can't display empathy he'll never get the public to follow him.

Awww, yeah... ^_^ If he were a super charitable type and didn't crush poor people's bones to make his bread I'd like the guy.
