i'm getting it. leaning toward the 32 GB. but i've had 8GB for 2.5 years and i've managed ok. biggest thing is being able to put more music on it.

i've had my iphone 4 for 2.5 years now. no scratches, no cracks. except for a barely noticeable, really faint scratch in the top right corner. it's pretty laggy though and the home button isn't always responsive.

sure it's kind of a waste of money, but.

they made it longer not longer and wider? is it even 720p yet? no bluetooth 4.0? no nfc chip?

the funk is goin on over there.

No NFC. No expandable storage. No higher-res HD screen (same ppi as the last iPhone, though the screen itself is bigger).

And that new connector the iPhone 6 (I refuse to call it the iPhone 5 because that's not accurate) is sure to piss off a lot of people, who will now find their old iPhone/iPod-compatible docks to now be obsolete.

I'm an Android guy, but that said, it looks like there are a few pretty cool features.

Oddly enough, the one that I think stands out as one of those "Apple" things is that the new power cord is reversible, ie: there's no top or bottom of the cord you're inserting into the phone. Seems that I'm always fumbling with my phone, even after I've had it for a while to get that cord in right side up.

Don't worry about it... I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you 1, 2 or 9 of these!

You have to manually upload documents in the cloud.

Probably getting it. Cheap upgrade for what you get imo. Love the processor and ram upgrades. Not happy about increased length though.

Well I guess it's nice to see what I'll be getting in four years when it comes free with a plan. I have another year with my free iPhone 3 before the current plan expires. We're just too cheap to pay for this stuff.

I love the idea of free and open source software but Android is just too ugly for me.

I don't mean to be yet another whiny anti-Apple guy, but after the shit Apple pulled earlier this year with the HTC One X series of phones (delaying them in Customs for an alleged patent violation which turned out to be BS), I fall squarely in the "Apple can go fuck themselves" category.
