This whole situation disgusts me. Like if I gave a shit more I'd probably feel physically sick. Monte took it upon him to basically strong arm and bully this woman into taking the listing down and the worst part is no one (Billy) even asked him too. He probably messaged Billy and told him all about what he did to score some brownie points. And Billy's tweet was lame and irresponsible. He passed judgment on the listing with no evidence and basically robbed this woman of a lot of money that would have been rightfully hers.

Monte needs to go away. He is poisoning the SP community and Billy is a massive tool for working with the guy. Ugh.

I can't wait for Corgan to kick Monte's ass to the curb. It's going to happen. Billy eventually does it with everybody in his career/life. I hope it's epic.

I think he almost did back at the end of last year. He threatened to cut Monte off over the negative commenters on his blog. I think it was right after the show in europe when Nicole played drums on To Sheila. Billy was keeping count of how many negative comments had been posted on the web site

If I remember correctly there were several negative comments on that post. Now they're all gone, of course.

there were a few emails sent out to contributors around that time regarding bill's reaction.

I think just before that incident he had "banned" HU from following his blog's twitter feed. And he was wary of negative comments being posted on the blog. At one point he had asked for help having other contributors delete them when they saw anything "negative".

I didn't think much of it until the shit hit the fan and then I realized that billy must have been ragging on him about negative comments for a while before that. I think billy said something like "6 times now! what have I told you!" blah blah blah blah... it was obvious that bill had been keeping tabs on the blog.


kept my mouth shut cause I have respect for many of the other fan sites that are linked through crestfallen and SP.com, but the utter douche baggedness of this ebay bullshit has sort of ruined it all for me..
