uuuuuugh diet snobs are the worst. And not just the vegans/vegetarians either (in fact, in the scheme of things, they're some of the easiest to tolerate).

In my last job I worked with a girl who was into the whole 'raw food' thing, she would lecture everybody else there all day about how she was going to outlive them all cause she had a half a coconut and a fistful of spinach leaves for breakfast.

One time I came to work after my mum's best friend had been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and had six months to live and after I told her the news she responded "oh, just tell her to switch to an all-raw diet and she'll be fine". Not even "sorry to hear that" or anything, just straight into the raw food rant. :dammit:

i'd rather just focus on my hobbies / becoming a better man / improving my economic status. seems much more beneficial to myself and those around me than judging them over the fat in fast food.

i don't think she was like that with anyone else because i was probably the only fat person she knew

also we weren't really friends so maybe it was just passive aggressive i don't like you roommate crap

It may be evil but any time someone says they're going to outlive me because of their diet i sincerely hope they die young because of a freak accident or disease.

Anyone playing the game of life like you're going to win at it is an utter idiot.

actually now that i think about it charmbag being raised religious explains the dogmatic, inflexible way she approaches feminism.

My opinions wrt feminism being developed and thought-out does not make me "dogmatic". Excuse me if someone who has devoted exactly 0 hours to considering the potential harms of porn, for instance, does not move me to magically change my mind. I do change my mind quite often. For good, thought-out ideas.

The sex-positive pro-gender types I encounter are often very dogmatic in their beliefs, which just happen to be mainstream and therefore seen as somehow less rigid. After all, no one accuses you of being rigid for a fervent belief that the sky is blue
