uuuuuugh diet snobs are the worst. And not just the vegans/vegetarians either (in fact, in the scheme of things, they're some of the easiest to tolerate). In my last job I worked with a girl who was into the whole 'raw food' thing, she would lecture everybody else there all day about how she was going to outlive them all cause she had a half a coconut and a fistful of spinach leaves for breakfast. One time I came to work after my mum's best friend had been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and had six months to live and after I told her the news she responded "oh, just tell her to switch to an all-raw diet and she'll be fine". Not even "sorry to hear that" or anything, just straight into the raw food rant. :dammit: |

The sex-positive pro-gender types I encounter are often very dogmatic in their beliefs, which just happen to be mainstream and therefore seen as somehow less rigid. After all, no one accuses you of being rigid for a fervent belief that the sky is blue |
