i don't agree that this is positive reinforcement. eating disorders are all about hiding. she needs pressure to realize she is in a lot of danger imo. she is not going to go herself, she is too ill

This is actually negative reinforcement. Most eating disordered people usually want encouragement and thinspiration. Whatever attention she gets here is not going have any effect on what she does anyway. More than likely she won't go in for a check up until she has symptoms that scare her into getting help.

It sucks to think that I'm so driven towards destruction but a sudden hospitalization is expensive and won't change it. I can keep myself alive to seek therapy but now this is getting embarrassing. I know I brought it up in the first place but it's still not something I want to keep discussing, it's weird.

but in all seriousness, unless you are just playing a character like I do on Netphoria and you are in fact in your current predicament, I would think a hospital stay right now would be considerably cheaper than a hospital stay when you are being rushed there for multiple organ failure.
