amsterdam has this reputation of being sin city but i think that sort of misses the point. it's a beautiful city with an incredible and accessible history and that was my favourite part. p.coll to be drinking in pubs that have been around since the 1600s.

frankly I found the red light district depressing, and smoking with friends in nice places (parks, old docks) was much more appealing than sitting in smelly old coffee shops.
