Hipsters are so last decade.

i don't think that many people (outside of urban hipster-y areas) really know what a hipster is

i have been accused of being a hipster

which is just

no. not that i would actively reject the label but it's just embarrassingly inaccurate.

I can't work out if I don't like them or if I'm jealous because I'm not one, or if I am one and I should be embarrassed.

hipsters were better before they were popular.

I think the essence of hipsterism is all three at once.

What about preppies? You never hear that anymore.

female hipsters tend to look pretty good. sometimes. and the occasional male one.

Hipster chick hair can be pretty sexy.

I'll take scene girls over hipster girls any day tho.

there's also a couple threads on the SP board and a politics board thread so i feel the topic is getting out of hand so we need to discuss it into the ground so people stop talking about hipsters so much

one of my favorite things about the hipsters that I know is that ALL OF A SUDDEN you HAVE to see PORTLANDIA and i'm like, dog, you told me Sleater-Kinney sucked, fuck you.

Speaking of hipsters, I think I saw a Pabst Blue Ribbon hockey jersey during a game the other day, lol

what is the difference

i like sharp, short, modern cuts. crazy hair color can be a plus or a minus depending on the look

i love carrie so much but i don't know where to start with sleater-kinney

i generally love good rock bands with female vocals so i feel like this is a sweet spot thing i've been missing out on
