i just checked and one was for Austin Energy which google knows because i put my address in maps and the other was for ipods so i don't really see any real connection to anything in my email

i trust google more than i trust facebook, there's a lot of things that are really gross about facebook and there is not one moment it's ever really enriched my life or was beneficial in any way. like i said before it hasn't introduced anything new it's just attempting to monopolize social interaction on the internet.

i think it's even creepier that people defend it and act like it's something i have to do or else i'm a miserable hopeless bastard that is always going to be sad

1) it has nothing to do with friendship and you are indeed being lazy and careless about people
2) it has never introduced anything new to social media

i have enough friends that i see regularly and have good relationships with "in the real world" that i don't see facebook as a replacement for real human interaction. i am certainly not lazy and careless with people, and for you to assert that while knowing almost nothing about my personal life is pretty presumptuous.

and i don't really care about how they make their profits off of me because i don't have to pay for it, i actively choose to use it, and i give it only the information i want it to have. if it bothers you, then don't use it. and stop whining about it like some big baby who is upset that other people can enjoy something he hates.

but i forget that everyone has to experience life in the same way you do. so i guess nevermind.
