getting money/stuff unexpectedly

i got a check today for a few hundred dollars because i got approved for a drug company to pay for some of my meds and they went back three months. wasn't expecting it at all and can really fucking use it. going forward i will save about $200-300 a month

a few months ago i got a $1 scratch off and won $100

how bout you guys?

my neighbor pays me to take care of her animals when shes away. shes away a lot. and her dog is really old and because of all the 'special care' she needs, i get paid $20/day.

I just got a $75 check from her for last weekend, and she's going to be away from xmas till mid january...:)

and my buddy who owes me $150 finally has it for me.

i got a check from my old cable company in albany for $40.99. due to a credit on my account when i moved out. now if only i could figure out a way to cash it since my nearest bank branch is almost 30 miles away and the bank it's drawn on is local to upstate ny

I took half the textbook money of the books I sold back instead of giving it all to my parents. Although that was definitely expected, by all parties.

I once got a surprise $5000 check in the mail for disability payments they should have been giving to my father when I was under 18. Since I was over 18 when the court approved his disability all the extra money he would have gotten for having a dependent under 18 years of age got paid directly to me instead.

that is so awesome.

I never get free shit from anyone ever for anything. Am I bitter about it? You could say that. For example a 16 year old kid came up to my second job in an old school ferrari. I was not polite during my interaction with him. Fucking dick. I even flipped off a dude driving a lamborghini gallardo the other day. It felt great.
