Got my internship lined up already, and yeah I worked at a grocery store for 3.5 years which is what pushed me to college in the first place. A few restaurants, too.

lol a BA. if i was hiring people, and i got a big pile of letters of people applying, first i'd throw away the ones that had a BA on their cv, then i'd filter out the ones with spelling errors, and only then i'd start looking at the actual content.

This is funny....I hate school but am interning at a school. I can't think of many practical uses for an English degree, so I figured begin with some sort of teaching experience and secretly write on the side. I may have to delete my facebook, though...

good idea. and congrats. my sister just graduated with her BA in History. There were a lot of "management" majors.

You shouldn't need to delete your facebook acct. Change your profile pic to something that doesn't show your face. Lock down your privacy settings and change you name. I have friends who teach who don't use their last name on facebook. It makes it extremely difficult to find you. But your friends will know who you are.
