and in case any of you are wondering: no, it does not appear you can prevent new registrations from sending pms. maybe newer versions of vbulletin have that but hahahahahahahaha

you'd be able to do that by creating a new user group like "New Members"and set permissions to send 0 PMs, and after like 10-25 post do that automatic user group promotion thing to registered member

silly. adblock uses prefab lists to block content. someone will come out with a custom list that will block all the ads that adblock whitelists. no worries.
