i didn't watch this until 96 but it was at my friends house for a sleepover. he was a year older than me and knew about all the cool rocks bands from his brother who was 4-5 years older than him.

i think it was that same sleepover i learned how to play the sweet dreams riff on guitar and we spent most of the night on ninchat and listening to silverchair.

I bought it on VHS in ~96, and would only watch it when I had the house to myself. No idea why, but for some reason, I was super possessive and secretive about my musical tastes as a early teen. Seems absolutely crazy in retrospect... not to mention that iPods/iTunes/etc have totally taken all of the spirit of adventure out of music for youth.

i had the VHS as well around 1997 and got the DVD around 2005. both have since gone missing. pretty sure some junkie friend or other stole them back when i was addicted to painkillers
