Guess what!
 



We've only told my best girl friend so far, we're planning on telling our families in person when we go down to visit for Thanksgiving. I'm so excited though and I really want to share the news with everyone, but I'll be high risk because of my blood clotting disorder so there's no telling what might happen before I get out of the first trimester, and I'd hate to go and untell everyone incase something happens. But I figure I could share the news with y'all :)

Shouldn't you wait three months before telling anyone, though? Am I mixing something up here?

Well yeah, traditionally you should wait until you're around 10/12 weeks, that's why we're not sharing it with anyone but our immediate families for now. But I figure I could share it with y'all and it wouldn't hurt anything. And if something happens y'all could make some pretty good jokes out of it I suppose.

Also, I've known for about a week, so I guess that puts me between 5/6 weeks. I just really wanted to share, I was so excited.

Oof good luck with that shit, girl. I had a nightmare the other day that I was back home in Texas and my uncle and dad were all pissed at me for getting a girl pregnant the last time I was there. I woke up in a panic dripping with cold sweat. I thought to myself "Whew, just a dream." Stupid nightmares.

Uh.. We decided hey let's have a kid, fucked multiple times then a few weeks later I took a test and it was positive. Went to the dr. and he confirmed it. Voila.

Well, since my DVT last year I was advised to never use hormonal birth control again. So we were only using condoms. We'd been talking on and off about kids, and one day we decided not not use a condom that time - and from then on we didn't use one either.

I'm actually really crappy at keeping up with cycle and stuff, would just generally know within a week or two of when my period should start. The week I thought it was going to start, I didn't, and took a test and it was negative. The week after it still hadn't started, I took another test and it was positive, but really faint. A few days later I took another one and it was two dark lines confirming it.

I was feeling like I had the flu, so I went to the dr. and he said no it was an upper resp. infection but he confirmed that I was indeed pregnant.
I have an appointment with an obgyn the 2nd week of Dec. and need to call my hematologist (I'll have to have Heparin injections throughout pregnancy :( ) and make an appointment with him to let him know too.

/life story/tldr
