i had the same reaction when i first listened to it (d/led it when Scott-Heron died). i should listen to it again some time.

I don't see how the term urban music is racist. Should I insert "folk" in between those two words? I mean, it's more racist to say that it applies to only one cultural group than to say it is the product of urban areas.
