seen some of the best shows of my life there. man I think i've seen like, 15 shows there at least? depressing

Dang. I mean, i've never been there myself obviously, but the number of stories i've heard about amazing bands playing crazy shows there is enough to make me sad. There's some footage of ISIS playing there are the beginning of their career that is just raw as fuck.

is that where Two Gallants got tasered?

shitty man.... haven't been to a show there in a while... think last show was Bring Me The Horizon in November of last year... easily one of the craziest shows I've seen at Emo's.

The lineup was always hit or miss though. They'd go a full month with no one of any worth and then a full month of nothing but bangers.

I guess that's what they mean... they can't consistantly bring in talent like they used to given Austin has so many venues that have the cash to bring in big names.

Emo's is where I stage managed this past SXSW. Love all of the people that work there. I really hope Emo's East does well. Pretty insane how much bigger the capacity is now.

i was looking forward to wild flag there but now it's at la zona rosa booooooooooooooo

no more $3 lone star tall boys at Emo$ east. Also Riverside neighborhood, no good. BOOOO.

But Riverside is the next area they're trying to gentrify!

I've seen hundreds of bands pour through Emo's. My favorite memory is probably The Impossibles' farewell show.
