Hey and I've been listening to the whole of Have One on Me like you recommended. I checked out her other albums too but I didn't really get into Ys. I like the milk eyed mender though. Have One on Me is the best thing put out in the last decade IMO. I keep listening to Soft as Chalk.

meh, I loved the lyrics. It's just that the music seemed a little incoherent. And that, as someone who enjoys Bartok and Philip Glass. I like odd....but Ys is not just odd...it's more random. I'm not a big fan of randomness when it comes to composition and arrangement, that's why I'm such a huge fan of the other albums, because they are very precise. I think whoever arranged the strings on Ys kind of let it get away on them. just my opinion.
