A lot of people here are playing up this band, what kind of music are they? should i check them out? what are some good tracks I should download?

The standard-issue comparison is to Joy Division (post-punk). Check out Obstacle 1, NYC, and Roland.

they might take a while to warm up on you. i didn't like them at all at first but now i'm really fond of most of their album. my favorite songs are The New and Untitled.
