Jack White has some stuff that is awesome to me, and some stuff that is totally uninteresting. He's not much of a songwriter at all. Do a lot of people still like him? It seems like he has been sort of forgotten about in the past few years.

White was considered a great guitar player by idiots at one point.

i dunno, jack white's good. he's written some fantastic songs, but i think he's pushed the (pretty limited) boundaries of his sound already. at least in the white stripes. his dead weather stuff is okay. but nothing special.
