hey guys let's now talk about how the thread title is grammatically incorrect.

shouldn't it be "what bands that are often highly regarded can you not get into" or something?

i may not be a native english speaker but that doesn't make any sense to me. that's just the "can't" spelt out. where's the difference?

The Cure

aztec litany service 12-05-2009 08:44 PM

the cure i can understand being a band that would be harder to get into if you're not into the particular strain of emotional ..stuff. i'll go into spells where i'll go into this cure-world and just listen to it for days, followed by maybe a month of not wanting to hear it at all

vanilla 12-24-2009 04:31 AM

can't stand peter gabriel

AndySlash 12-24-2009 03:52 PM

can't stand you

AndySlash 12-24-2009 04:19 PM

i'm gonna crank up red rain next time you're over here.

vanilla 12-26-2009 01:24 AM

guess you'll never get to see my loverly face in your house again.

i'm a big PG fan but he'd be better if he wasn't all serious/pretentious all the time.

AndySlash 01-07-2010 11:56 PM

he's mellowed in his old age. i think, anyway.

Peter Gabriel's record Security is one of the few albums that I can listen to all the way through.

you don't listen to full albums?

Catherine Wheel 01-09-2010 01:32 AM

I do. but on a lot of records there is a desire to skip at the very least one or two tracks. Security is a perfect record. I love every song. I guess I should have said its one of the few albums where I don't want to skip through a song.

Sonic Johnny 01-09-2010 01:40 AM

totally serious, btw. I had an ex girlfriend who just listened to that and bauhaus.

BAUHAUS.
