i was in downtown vancouver waiting for a bus back to whistler and thought we'd kill some time and get a drink in the hyatt. i guess he was staying there? at first i didn't want to bother him, but he was up and shook hands w/ someone else, so i just told him i was a huge fan and grew up playing watching him, and he was super kind and gracious and friendly.
