why did you get it? what is the significance?

it's inspired by the picture that is the header of the "blood from the shoulder of pallas by daniel dreiberg" at the end of chaper 7 in watchmen. I showed my artist the picture sometime around 15 months ago and finally got around to getting it. I don't really have a coherent explanation behind my fascination with the image, so I won't even go there.
