So in that worst date thread there was a link to the cat/deer photo thread posted by SPPunk. I bumped that thread on the main board and now it has disappeared. What the fuck is going on around here?

I think Pakula deleting warnings about rampant spyware and virus infestations on Netphoria is a way huger problem than somebody deleting a stupid pic or whatever.

Yeah, I've noticed a post of mine from the pic post thread deleted tonight, as well as a couple of others.

The Netphoria Funding Bill is passed. The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Netphoria begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th.

In a panic, they try to pull the plug.
