Last night I punched my girlfriend's brother
 

I don't remember if I posted this but a few months ago my girlfriend's brother beat her up. He's 15 years old but he's HUGE. He's 6'3 or so I guess. Anyway this kid is totally out of control, has been in over a dozen fights at school this year, blah blah. The cops have been called to their house twice because he beats on my girlfriend from time to time. Anyway last night I went to drop some stuff off at her house and he answered the door and started bitching at me about some fight he and my girlfriend had. She then stepped into the doorway and said, "Shut the fuck up, don't talk about me to him." He shoved her pretty hard then and she retaliated by hitting him with a book she was holding. I don't really know what happened next in terms of my thought process but something snapped in my brain and I just knew there was absolutely no way he was going to touch her again. I launched myself at him from behind, caught him around the neck with my right arm and punched him in the side of the head with my left fist. We both went down together since I had my arm around his throat. He scrambled up and ran into the other room where their mother was screaming hysterically, completely confused. I followed him into the room where he retreated into a corner and I proceeded to scream in his face for a few minutes about how nothing ever gives him the right to touch another person blah blah. I think their mom was just completely terrified of me because she sat completely stiff, tears running down her face, nodding at everything I said like she agreed. Then I told him that I would personally end his life if he ever touched her again. My girlfriend went up to her room and locked the door and I left. By the time I got to my car I was shaking from the adrenaline rush. Then I went to band practice and bragged about it.

I have wanted to hit him for a fucking long time. I know in a real fight I would get my ass beat because I am 5'8 and this kid is enormous, but I really had no fear of that. I never confronted him before because I didn't want to go to jail for hitting a minor. But actually seeing him put his hands on her like that made everything completely irrelevant except for the fact that my fist was going to connect with his head one way or the other.

I've never been brave enough to punch somebody when I'm angry or I want to retaliate. I'd get smashed by nearly anyone easily. I need to join a Fight Club. But for wusses. What are the rules to the Fight Club again? Is there one that kinda means that you effectively have to keep on fighting and fighting? Yeah. Take that rule out for me.

Ah, that movie really got to me the first time I watched it.

Yeah she came out, apparently everything is ok now but I guess I really scared the shit out of everyone. Their father lives in NC, he's a military guy.

And for those of you being assholes, you would have reacted in the same way if you were in my situation. He's beat her up before and I have never been able to do anything about it. And also, fuck her mom. Her mom is out of her mind and has NO control over what goes on inside that house, and she has repeatedly defended my girlfriend's brother because she doesn't want him to get in legal trouble even though it makes things bad for the family. I really don't give a shit what any of them think of me right now, I fucking had enough with that bullshit.

No, not at all. I'm fine with her. I just couldn't give a flying fuck what the rest of her family thinks anymore. I am so done with dealing with their ridiculous shit, its like something out of a movie.
