Well, I know people here have a hard time staying on topic, so I'm going to help you out with that. Unfortunately, I didn't get to post in this thread last time around, so I'll do it now.

Corgan's biggest blunder is, without question, not going to college after high school. Not only is he setting a really BAD example, but you have zero chance of being successful in life if you don't have any formal education. Yes, you can be successful for a few years, but Billy is just now starting to suffer from this for 2 main reasons. One reason is that now he has to rely on other people (managers, accountants, PR, etc.) to do so many things for him, but that's true with alot of musicians. There's a much more serious reason than that.

He's put himself in a position where all he can do now is make music, no matter how bad or how unpopular it gets (and some of it is starting to get pretty bad if you've heard Zwan). Even though he is now way past his prime as far as being a "hit" with the music industry, because he has no education, he is unable to go for a career change or do anything but continue doing what he's been doing. Basically, he's become the typical steelworker or coal miner.
