A nice guy from the box office told me that he thinks the only guaranteed-admission tickets are from the radio station. He said the web tickets are for "standbys".

Now, I don't think he is 100% accurate on the "standbys" comment. Even if the radio gave away tickets every hour, it'd take them a while to get to 3000. So I think a good number of website "e-confirmation tickets" will get you in, but probably some people will be denied. He did say that the venue had nothing to do with the tickets for this show.

I also asked if he knew if the show was going to be only 1 hour (as claimed on the Samsung Summer Krush website). He said that he hadn't been told that, but also that most of the venue staff had already left town due to the tropical storms (I was quite surprised to hear this), so that he couldn't ask anyone to confirm. But he said he wouldn't be surprised, since it is a free show.

He said to call back in the next couple days and maybe they'd have more info / more venue staff would be there to confirm things.

they do not just give out tickets to winning callers, they gave out about 100 tickets at places all over orlando this week... 1 or 2 every day. that is were i got mine.

Yep they have been going insane giving away tickets.

id rather pay $50 to guarantee my entry. i did enter Pumpkins in the comment box, does that really mean anything? i guess ill just have to leave at noon to make sure i get there by atleast 4.

so whos even bothering with the standby tickets? i dont know that i am anymore.

if anyone is stressed about not being let in, just get there as early as you can..

The lines they set up at the hard rock goes around the left side of the building that's a covered line set up with tvs and rails. If it rains, ill be at the bar next door.
I dont see most the people who got tickets showing up that early.

well, i know im not going to be standing in any rain and still get in.

Heads up : I just got an email saying there will be a line for the e-ticket holder.. So it seems that ticketmaster tix holders mite be let in before e-ticket holders.

The next tropical storm will be Tropical Storm Glass. It will then devolve into Tropical Depression Glass. (it becomes a depression when the maximum sustained wind speed is 33 kt -- s1ne!)

interesting...now when we get there we'll at least have an idea of e-ticket chances of getting in. my fingers will be crossed til tomorrow

I am only a half hour from orlando and have ticketmaster tickets from the radio
so as long as i get there early i'll be find, but im worried about people coming for far with e-tickets...

I really wish the info about this whole show were more public, everyone thinks the only way is to win tickets...
I hope only a few people get turned down and not dozens...

I got our tickets earlier this week at Ron Jon surf shop in Cocoa Beach. Wjrr was there from 3-4 pm giving away tickets. All I had to do was show up and have my picture taken wearing a sticker from the station. This will be my first time seeing the Pumpkins so original members or not, I'm still excited.

I got mine at the same place... heading out there in about 4 hours...

They played a full set. No setlist differences except for Chris on accordian during Set The Controls. HMM ended with Cat Scratch Fever into Rush's Tom Sawyer with Ginger on vocals! Sound was waaaaay better than Clearwater but not as good at the charlotte(s) shows.

I didn't record. Parking was way too far if I had to go back. Plus we got drenched waiting outside. I'm a Chili's now and my clothes are still wet. There were metal detectors as well. There was definitely no pro video either. That was bullshit. I saw no cameras anywhere.
