Anyone ever got one? I broke my nose last year and its crooked/hooked/jewish now. Im looking to get one this summer.

my friend had one because he broke his nose and said it didn't hurt to much more then the actual injury itself, and it came out really well, they actually made his nose suit his face better then the one he was born with

on the topic of cosmetic surgery, my friend told me he recently had liposuction performed on his armpits. the purpose was to suck out the sweat glands, so that he won't sweat there. i was mildly horrified, but now i'm mostly just curious about the biology behind having sweat glands there, and the ramifications of removing them like that..

Apocrine sweat glands which are found in the armpits are quite important cause they get rid of fats, oils, other cell waste products and otherwise all sorts of unnecessary organic compounds. They're not used in temperature regulation like other perspiratory glands which, if you were to remove a small amount (i.e the same amount as Apocrine glands in the armpit), wouldn't be as crucial.

Armpits produce similar sweat to the type that gives pubic hair that pubic hair smell.

There's also theories saying that sweat from these glands produces certain pheromones that make girl hormones run rampant and make them more rambunctious, but I think that's only half true.
