Yo La Tengo - Beautiful Noise - Toronto April 7 2008
 

Ok so this show came out of nowhere and I RSVP'd and got myself tickets for the show :) (guestlist sort of deal). It's in a church and is being taped and everything it's pretty awesome..

I can't wait. They play really varied sets and all and are one of my favorite bands. Anybody see them this year or within the last six months? What have they been playing? Anybody going?

I saw them last august at lollapalooza, they played 4 or 5 from I Am Not Afraid of You (Including Pass the Hatchet and Story of Yo La Tango), also opened with Sugarcube. Some guy in the crowd has a sign for Danelectro #3, they teased it but didn't play the whole thing. Ira went fucking NUTS during Pass the Hatchet.

seriously I can't find anything about it online... I mean a few of the other bands linked the event from their myspace, but not yo la.

I wonder who's gonna show up then? I think if you search 'yo la tengo toronto' or 'yo la tengo beautiful noise' this thread is the first thing that comes up :erm:

anyway, thanks for posting the link. i just sent an email to RSVP but they wrote back to say they won't guarantee a spot until the end of this week or whatever.
