they keep pushing back the time for when they're gonna resume the NASCAR race. there is still two-thirds of it left to go. i have an 8:00 class tomorrow.

oh no, there are several better looking drivers. (to be completely honest, i started liking jeff gordon because the first time i saw part of a race when i was 8 or so, he was winning. so you can criticize me for being a front-runner.)

oh, and i'm pissed at NASCAR because they said they would resume at 1:00. then at 1:00, the only update they gave was "Activity is heating up on pit road."

Then at 2:00 they let everyone know it wouldn't resume until 1:00 this afternoon.

i saw some gnarly crash and a bunch of rednecks bitching about how the track wasn't ready or something. then i watched robin hood, men in tights.

yeah...the one where one car just lifted another off the ground, turned it on its side, and then a big fire started? pretty crazy.

seems like a pretty significant safety hazard that a damaged hood can cause one car going about 80 mph to flip another one over like it's nothing. hm.

fontana and the rest of the inland empire is a nice little slice of middle america right here in so cal.

well they built to many seats into it, so it's never full even though the crowds are pretty huge. the racing isn't so bad. after a little while, two racing grooves appear and the racing can be pretty satisfactory. but it's one of the "cookie-cutter" tracks that have been built recently that are all the same size/shape/style. kind of annoying.

no not really. most of those guys can look flat-out ugly sometimes too. NASCAR isn't really the place to find good looking dudes. either on the track or in the stands.
