unlike nimrod's romantic escapades, i'm hardcore's can be corroborated. hardcore got to meet more netphorians (remember this board is the most important thing in nimrod's life so this is a blow to him) and got to see more of the country in 3 months then nimrod will see in his lifetime.

I too respect Mattcore's freewheeling nature and am envious of his trip. I'm usually easygoing but would have stressed myself out over travel details and lodging arrangements. Seems like Matt was just about to say fuckit and have everything fall pretty much into place.

So Matt what did you do with your car when you were done? I imagine you sold it for whatever you could get for it but always kind of imagine you dousing it with gasoline and flicking a match into it before pushing it off a bridge and into a river/ocean. Seems like that is how that trip should have ended. Granted you'd need a tagline along the lines of "Hasta la vista, baby." I would have suggested "See you in hell, Honda" (or whatever brand of car you had).
