John McCain only wants to spend a projected seven billion annually where as Obama wants to spend nearly three hundred billion annually. Clinton wants to spend a little less than Obama.

I think McCain would make a decent executive even if he is committed to long term bases in Iraq. That's my only problem with him, the absolute and complete wanking on the Iraq War to please the party. I know he's smarter than to go into a market square with a squad of marines and helicopters and proclaim it safe. I know John McCain is smarter than that.
