there's this band called Apartment that i absolutely love. i've never heard anyone talk about them on here so i thought i'd upload their album and their b-sides and see what you guys thought. i know there from england, but i don't know if there very big out there. two bands that i think kind of sound like them are Editors and Battle (another great band i haven't heard any talk about, perhaps i'll upload there stuff too). i hope somebody digs on this because it took forever to upload on my slow fucked up internet connection.

i know battle. they're completely inoffensive but still utterly bland generic indie rock, like editors without the pretend drama. my friend considers them an "important" guitar band but if that's what people consider great guitar music these days then i think i'm gonna go kill myself.

honestly, not much! even billy's disappointed me with zeitgeist. the only really great/interesting popular guitar players at the moment are ones who have always been around for a few years already. like:

jonny greenwood
matt bellamy
jack white
qotsa guys
kaki king/ other experimental youtubey guitarists
johnny marr still deserves a mention
deerhoof

and there's this japanese band i love called The Band Apart who's guitar work is just phenomenal. kindof bossa-nova rock.
