Who's to say a punch wouldn't be considered a bang? I'd say it would bang her pretty well, depending on the punch.

watermelonclip 12-18-2007 07:31 PM

SlingeroGuitaro 12-18-2007 07:32 PM

So would punching a crotch still be considered banging?

Where did these guys get January 1st as a reliable date?

Quiet CD 12-18-2007 09:40 PM

not too many tight lipped individuals...

skipgo 12-18-2007 09:43 PM

i think people are taking the words "first of the year" too literally.

Banana 12-18-2007 09:50 PM

I hate how netphoria has evolved over the past year. Threads can no longer stay on topic. It's really annoying.

Twineball 12-19-2007 01:15 AM

So when these tracks are released (hopefully not on iTunes, dear god), are we supposed to be surprised? At how good they are, or how crappy?

SlingeroGuitaro 12-19-2007 01:20 AM

i'll be surprised if theyre good.

waltermcphilp 12-19-2007 01:25 AM

Who said that it's reliable? It's just taken from Jimmy's post on the SP blog: "Look for these around the first of the year. Busy Bees!"

caroline 12-19-2007 10:04 AM

I hope the new Pumpkins appear on whatever they release next. If they want us to really accept them as full band members they would do this. B and J really need input from other voices. Jimmy seems too much like Billy's yes-man.

it's funny how nowadays, you can skip two entire pages of a thread without missing a beat

UGGG! AROUND THE FIRST OF THE YEAR DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY = JANUARY FIRST.

I am, however, prepared to eat crow if they come out jan. 1.

SlingeroGuitaro 12-19-2007 10:22 AM

how did he kill the hard drive? swipe a magnet across it?

yes, i know exactly what you're talking about with those headaches. they are only in one spot in your head but they hurt like hell and never let up. i would recommend not staring at a computer screen, but i suppose you're at work. have you taken some aspirin?

Maybe they're using this as a last chance to put out music without the new members, and then the next album will ink-lewd them.

That way they can "finish what they started" I guess.

nah it's not really his fault i guess, he left it on last night while he was converting some videos to burn to dvd, and forgot to plug in before he went to bed, so the battery died and now it won't boot up. I get this folder icon with a question mark inside of it, and according to the apple support forums, this usually means your drive is dead. I guess it's not that horrible since it's under warranty, but i haven't done a backup in a while, so i lost stuff. Like my video taken at the sp show :( and the song I wrote this weekend :(
*sigh*

oh, i took advil. It's not working though. What a crap day.

Geez, iBooks are fragile, aren't they? This Dell laptop I have just goes into 'hibernation' mode and keeps all your programs up until you plug it back in. =/ Hopefully you can get it running again, though.

Did you happen to post that song anywhere?

skipgo 12-19-2007 11:46 AM

well the reason i don't think it was his fault is because this doesn't usually happen just because the battery died; it had to be a problem with the hard drive itself. But the ibook i had before never gave me any trouble, and i had it for two years. I only upgraded to the macbook because i wanted a faster processor and more ram to handle all of these recording apps.

didn't post the song; it was just a little track of a riff i came up with to help me remember, not really a whole song. Maybe it's not lost...

exactlythesame 12-19-2007 11:51 AM

How lame. I would be extremely sad if I lost all my data just like that. Thankfully, I have most of it on an external hard drive, so it should be safe should something happen to the CPU. Maybe an idea for the future?
