advice please
 

so as some of you may or may not know me and kiley have split and she wants me to vacate the house.

I feel that I shouldn't have to leave since I have paid every house note, paid the security deposit, application fee, etc.

On the lease both of us are listed as tenants and her mom is listed only as a co-signer....am I right to be the one to ask her to leave? I mean she doesn't work and there only is another month left on this lease anyway.

I just really don't know what to do, I don't have the time to find another place and paying for here and deposits etc for a new place would just put me in a rock and a hard place.

She has friends and family here and I don't so it's only fair I think, but I fear this is going to turn into something childish and nasty which I really want to avoid. Any advice would be most helpful.

I sent her a text today ( you know since she won't speak to me at all ) asking her to call me because we needed to talked about the housing situation and she has the nerve to comment on myspace that I am a lying piece of shit and that she does not pity me anymore

it was a comment on my blog where I apparently didn't tell the whole story, but FUCK I don't even know what I did wrong (since she hasn't spoken to me since saturday night). I was drunk and a jerk and it wasn't the first time and she felt she didn't deserve that kind of treatment so I guess she just decided to call it quits instead of trying to work things out and fight for someone you claimed you loved with all your heart :rolleyes:

Stay. You have 1 month left and are named in the lease, so you can rightfully stay there. You will need as much time as possible to find a new place, so staying until the lease is up is a smart idea. Make sure that if you do not plan to extend your lease, you are the one to get your deposit back, NOT her. Should you plan to continue your stay, obviously you will need to write up a new contract without her. I think its best for you to pay rent and stay until the lease is up, but ultimately move elsewhere. If she actually wants to stay at the place, it might be more trouble than its worth to fight for it. the extra month there gives you more time to save $. If you need or want to talk, AIM me.
