Am I an asshole or a good samaritan?
 

I live outside DC and just witnessed a Metro bus run a red light and almost kill some people. I followed the bus and got the number and reported it. There's a camera at that intersection so the driver is pretty much fucked. Am I an asshole for getting this person fired or did I do a good deed by getting this fuck off the road?

- clearly the bus driver is a government employee and therefore the scum of the earth
- he drives a government bus, which should be impounded - it's ashes scattered reverently on Milton Friedman's grave
- the people in the way were probably socialists and deserved to be run over anyway

- the people should have been carrying guns to shoot/kill the bus driver
- they could have at least shot out the tires action-hero style

I work at a liquor store and the other day the cops sent an underage kid in to buy beer to see if I'd ID him or not. Thankfully I did or else I would be $20,000 in debt right now. The police here are slimy pricks. The guy was 17 and had a fucking beard.

I don't see how you could be considered an asshole while reporting some dude who clearly should not be driving a bus. There are already enough people on the road who cannot drive, and this guy is being paid to be out there even though he cannot drive. I would have done the same thing.
