I'm kinda disappointed that Hero didn't take over as Kensai... it would have been predictable, but dammit, Hero needs to get the girl.

The problem this season is that the writers aren't bothering to rip off great comic plots like Watchmen or Days of Future Past or X-Men (the whole damn thing) or Rising Stars like last season did.

They need to start ripping off more classics like Dark Knight Returns or The Death of Gwen Stacy or any Grant Morrison or Warren Ellis to get this show back on track.

Veronica Mars and the TV Power Black Chick are kinda cool, though. And Lt. Reed needs more screentime.

Also, Kensi is Linderman.

I got it - rip off The Killing Joke and do Sylar as Joker and Peter Petrelli as Batman. Nikki Sanders can be Barbra Gordon.
